Isle of Wright - Little Canada

Finally im back home, wooshhh this trip was tired. I went to Isle of Wright with a group of other 11 young kids and 3 youth worker (: 6 girls and 6 boys woke up at 7am and start our journey to Isle of wright (: That morning i was so tired, because i went London last saturday and came back about 11 ishhh on sunday "/ once i got home i have to pack everything for the Isle of Wright trip next day and have to wake up early in the morning. But i think its really worth it to make and effort woke up early for this trip (:

1st Day - Monday 17th August 2oo9 :

As i said 6 girls and 6 boys woke up early morning 7am to gather up in the Scout Hut early morning, everyone was tired "/


Girls : Me, Mariyah, Tsanta, Sarah, Opral and Jewairiah
Boys : Haidar, Shawa, Jason, Ryan, Brandon and Adnaaaaaaaaaaan =b

Through the journey it was funny. We were rocking on Micheal Jackson's song on the way and kept on repeating Jacko's song all the way xD Firstly on this trip i dont know anyone well so i was just sitting there alone next to the window, and some girls were infront me (: But through out the trip i did know everyone well (: it was a great fun. Firstly Julie was driving us to Portsmouth so we can take the ferry accross Isle of Wright and wowwwwww we got lost =b we were turning around the roundabout for quite a few minutes and head back to where we came from haha


We arrived at Porthsmouth super early (about one hour or so early) so we went down to the beach and hang out at the Pier for quite awhile (: Its nearly 2.30pm we went to the ferry place and waited for our turn to get on the ferry. The journey on the ferry was approximately about 40 minutes till we reaches Isle of Wright, wooot the wind on top was strong all you can see is my hair flying everywhere "/*sigh should have tied it up Once we were near Isle of Wright we went down and get into our Mini Bus and head straight to Little Canada. Little Canada was less than 10 minutes away from the point we get off the ferry. Soon we arrived and "Pier" our tutor that show's us around and hang out with us came and meet us ^^ Unload the luggage behind and we head of to "Victoria" where our cabin is.


GODDDD, the boys cabin seriously have to be next to our's ==" seriously at first when i found out that their room were next to ours the first thing came out of my mind is "ohhh god, i dont think us girls going to have any sleep at all, they would do anything just to wake us up" and the adult's cabin are next to the boys xD yoo i bet they cant mess around now ^^ We had a little walk around the place and wow its huge @@ Pier said that there are rabbits and cats walking around the area (which is so cute) after the walk we went and settle in our cabin (:


1st day there we didnt do anything, since activities start the next day (: At night on Monday everyone gather inside the girl's cabin (including staff aswell) we were playing cards and telling stories. Brandon was hell scared when Azar was talking about ghost stories (i was scared too most of the time) You should have seen Brandon's face, his expression was totally funny .. everyone couldn't stop laughing at all (: i guess his trying to keep us entertain hohoho. Azar was talking about something to do with creature i dont know somethink like that suddenly something was flying next to Brandon we told him there's something next to him "/ The next thing you can hear is girl's screaming (not from the girls but the boys xD Its Brandon's scream) haha he sceamed like a girl and he head to the bed corner saying NAAAAAAAAAAAAAA-MANNNNNN hahahhaha ..


It was funny, and oh yeah Azar told us about a story with 3 girls. There are 3 girls who always have attitude. They think they are hard, once they have to camp outside while its raining, non-of the girls wanted to go outside so they slept inside comfortably with their legs on the chair relaxing while other people camp outside in the cold and wet weather. Azar, Nighat and Their Manager trying to get the girls outside, so they planned to scare them. At night they were making many many noises and scratching the wall, they peek into the window and saw them 3 girls with attitude not scared of anything hugging together "/ there manager have a white sheet over him, and he was standing outside the field somewhere waiting for the signals that the girls are close to the window, them 3 girls decide to look out the window and all they can see is someone ran around the field with a white sheet .. You know they think its ghost so they were sceaming and couldn't stop crying. There teacher came knocking at Azar's door and the next thing you know those girls was crying for mummy and wanting to go back home. hahahaha its quite funny for some reason "/


After that night i couldn't sleep properly at all, the boys next to us keep scratching on our wall "/ i was hell scared =S other girls they were fine, they wanted to get the boys back but but but they didn't manage to do it .. grhhhh =="


2nd Day - Tuesday 18th August 2oo9 :


Woke up earling morning about 7.30am and everyone was tired. We didnt get no sleep till 1am or 2am. Had breakfast really early (the food was soooo dry "/) and head back to get change before our activity starts. We had Aeroball, Dragon Quests, Outside Climbing (Rock Climbing), Quad Biking and MATRIX (:

• Aeroball - Basically you have to jump on the trampoline and throw a ball into the net oposite you and score it (: it was fun. I was team up with Adnan and our team name is "Nameless" since we didnt know what name we wanted to use so Nighat just called us the "Nameless" group. hahaha We nearly won the "Twix" both drawn and had a competition at the very end. Azar was so good, he keep scoring .. gahhhh i could have won :P
• Dragon Quests - Its just some team work have to be done, helping out each other to get over something and on the way have to collect dragon eggs too :p if we drop it on the floor we lose a point "/ but we get to have it back unless we taken a challenge from the instructor.
• Outside Climbing - Rock climbing was alright, the only thing i dont feel save about it is that the rocks that is stuck onto the wall is wobbly its not stabble at any point "/ it was alright i can say.
• Quad Biking - wow this is actually fun, first time done it and i feel awesome. But at the end i still dont really like it that much, im not that kind of person that are into bikes a lot.
• MATRIX - I have to say this is fun, we have to go through some small room and complete task. Lucky i had some funny people like Brandon and Jason, keep repeating Naaaaa-Mannnn each time when we get to a different room. I remembered the one that we had to go down the stairs and ended up in a very very small whole with about 7 or 8 person inside. "/ there's a whole on the small brick in front of me and everyone keep saying that there are rats underneath. I was just =S ohhh god who's going to come and safe me .. haha

thats for today. We went out to Mcdonalds and Tesco to get some food before Matrix starts since the food in the canteen was so not nice, no one enjoyed the meal there "/ everyone prefer Mcdonalds haha.

3rd Day - Wednesday 19th August 2oo9 :

Last night has been fun, everyone went to bed late and have to wake up early in the morning again "/ this morning we had Abseiling first, then Sensory Trail, Giant Swing, Jacobs Ladder and SWIMMING (:

• Abseiling - I thought that this would be scary, abseiling down from the top wall "/ but it was alright afterall. Not as bad as the one in "Ackers" I was first shaking up there but once i done it i really loved it ^^ When i was having my second go they were being mean "/ they hung us there half way down, me and Tsanta was just god, what are they tyring to do. They want us to do a challenge, we have to take one of our shoes of and put other person's shoes on the other side of our feet ==" grhhh that challenge was hard ... *sigh
• Sensory Trail - Besically you'll be blind fold and have to follow the trail to get out .. This is funny, we had to go throw puddles and tunnels "/ lucky i refused or else i will be wet and muddy. Near the end we have to get out of this maze, it took me just awhile and im already out, the idea is to follow you're left hand all the time (: At the end looking at the blind fold and walking around the maze its quite funny xD espiecially Brandon .. haha always walked into the same place/trap and everyone just uses some fur or leaves to tickle him and started to scream like a girl again .. haha
• Giant Swing - Is basically a swing that is like 180 degress high, and just drop you in the sudden (not sudden because you can control when you want to go down) two person was on the thing, and other 10 people have to pull the rope behind the two person on top, slowly pull them up till the top. Its tiring .. then when the instructor shouted 3,2,1 you let go a little string thing behind you then you'll be flying off (:
• Jacobs Ladder - You have to climb up this 5/6 ladder which it looks easy but its actually hard. It wobbles at the same time, and each distance its higher "/ I was team up with Azar and Brandon (: im happy with that, with them i do think we can go to the furthes (which we actually have)
• SWIMMING - i know it doesn't seems like really fun because its swimming, but actually everyone made it fun. Its a nice day to remember what we did (: It was a great fun, at first me and Mariyah was just sitting down soaking our legs because we dont want to go in, then suddenly Shawa came and splash water onto both of us "/ we were A BIT WET .. haha secondly more people came and splash water onto us at the end everyone just push us in (: hooooorayyyyy its fun .. hahhhaha Everyone tried to drag Jason in, too bad we couldn't "/ *sigh .. Water volleyball was fun (: BOYS CHEATED "/ gahhhhhhh ..

Later late at night, everyone is just waiting for the bath room to go have a wash before we go out to Tesco. After everyone had a bath, we went out to tesco (: i can actually feel that everyone know each other quite well (: dont know why its just my feelings telling me about it, its a good thing to know everyone more tho, but espiecially near at the end "/ no funnnnnnnn .. Azar, Nighat and Julie treated us FishnChips (: hoooooooray .. THANKS (:

Once we got back to our cabin, everyone just sit outside in the staff room, chatting away and eating our FishnChips .. soon everyone went back to their own cabin, and the next thing you know girls are having their own giggles and boys having there own too. That night the boys where banging our wall saying you girls are too loud we trying to get some sleep here, but turns out they were making more noise than us shouting ADNAAAAAAAAAAAAN hahaha

4th Day - Thursday 2oth August 2oo9 :

Last day of being in Isle of White ): We had 2 last activity to do before we have to go, morning we did archery and aeroball (again) and thats it really the day actually past by fast "/going to miss everyone. On the journey back everyone was tired @@ sleep in the mini bus for 2 hours (: aww how sweet .. not long we reached birmingham everyone was like cant believe we actually came back here today "/ *sigh ..
